Hailing from New Jersey, Mr Nicholas Bredimus merged the worlds of software, hospitality, and airlines and energized these industries. This innovative man has found work in many areas, from the designer home industry via the essentials of safety in the air to computer programs to help with time management. He’s brought real drive to all these areas, too.
You could have foreseen, mind you, that given his family tree he was a sure bet to rise to the top. Bringing elements together from a true melting pot, his clan traces to Antiquity, with his mother’s side predominantly German and Scottish. The paternal line, however, hailed from England and Luxembourg, from where his forebears ultimately migrated in the late 1800s. And following emigration to America, they upheld their immaculate work ethic and determination to thrive and survive. Nicholas, who would grow up with his sisters and brothers, was born to a father who worked as a mechanical design engineer and his wife, a nurse. Bredimus went on to live in Texas for quite some while as well as in Scottsdale, AZ, Reston, VA and Kansas City, MO.
What, you might ask, did Bredimus do to capitalize on his upbringing and education? He would swiftly embark on a string of high powered posts, all working for distinguished airlines. Nicholas became a vice president with firms like Hughes Airwest, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and Republic Airlines respectively. All these achievements nothwithstanding, the airline industry has had reason to thank him still more for services in the field of software programming.
His creation of airplane maintenance programs, now commonplace throughout the entire airline sector while initially created for one specific business, led to what is surely his most used creation. This was just one of his key innovations for the hotel business and for airlines. The booking programs he invented are on their way to stand alongside the aircraft maintenance program as a measuring stick, while his hotel reservation routine enabled many major market players in the hotel industry to roll out a pc based technology. Following that came an automatic, networked approach to ticketing that stands as a first.
He has taken on quite a number of roles entirely outside of software development, it should be mentioned. Key titles with American Airlines and American Express followed, and as you may know he established a company of his own seventeen years ago.
You ask if he is still active? Absolutely — his capabilities are ready to answer the call in spite of his having left prior interests behind. Presently, he designs and builds superior condos that feature many of the newest technologies available.
